Additional molybdenum makes a difference anticipate corrosion from various mechanical chemicals and solvents. 316 grades contain a higher percentage of nickel. The increased Nickel content of 316 makes it an excellent choice for marine applications. 316L SS checkerd plates, sheets & coils also contains a very low carbon content. It has excellent corrosion resistance quality, high strength, and good durability.
