316 SS Welding Rod
The most commonly used grade of stainless steel is stainless steel 316. This electrode is generally composed of 16 to 18% chromium, 2 to 3% molybdenum,10 to 14% nickel, and a small percentage of carbon. 316 welding rod uses for welding 18/8/3 austenitic stainless steels and cladded steels. It provides excellent corrosion resistance and Smooth welding. Adding the amount of molybdenum with the 316 stainless steel electrode increases its corrosion resistance power as compared to other grades of stainless steel.
