904L Stainless Steel Welding Rod
A non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel, 904l stainless steel welding rod grade contains copper alloy. As a result, this grade of welding rod of steel can resist corrosion from many acids. The maximum cost of the grade however, caused many manufacturers to turn to the lower-cost duplex stainless steel 2205 as an alternative alloy.
